         A Literary Analysis of "Tatsulok" by Bamboo,   Focusing on Socio-Political Context      The Filipino rock band Bamboo's song "Tatsulok" is a potent critique of injustice, social inequity, and the cycles of societal power structures. The word "tatsulok," which means "triangle," represents the social structure in which the privileged hold the highest positions while the underprivileged are relegated to the lowest. The song criticizes the disparity in money and power as well as the oppression that results from it through its moving words and powerful musicianship.      The three-sided triangle known as the "tatsulok" is used to highlight the unbalanced social structures. The lines suggest that authority is not dispersed equally, even in the face of seeming order.
